How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Thoughtful and aggressive. A first year player who is passionate about the game.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Positive and supportive of my teammates. I always want everyone on the court know that a mistake isn’t the end of the world- we will get the next point!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of Jr. National Beta Club and Mensa. I am also very active in my church youth group in a leadership position.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve had a leadership position in my church youth group for the last 9 months and it has been a joy to help our younger members during service. I’ve also had the opportunity to participate in community service through church, which has made me realize how grateful I am. Prior to volleyball, I was an elite cheerleader for 3 years so I understand dedication and teamwork for success.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My biggest challenge so far has been navigating the divorce of my parents and splitting some of my time between two homes. It’s been several years; however, I’m use to it and like being able to spend time with each of my parents individually.
What type of college are you looking for?
I would like to college with strong academics and competitive sports. My career goals are to be an attorney or in the medical field.
