About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My primary position is Right Side Hitter, where I contribute as a powerful attacker, consistent blocker, and reliable option in both front and back row play. Over the past two seasons, I have expanded my role to develop into a true 6-rotation Pin Hitter, gaining experience in serve receive, back-row defense, and attacking from all six rotations.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Beyond technical skills, I take pride in being a team-first player. Coaches and teammates often recognize my energy, focus, and ability to lift the team in both competitive and practice environments. I am committed to continuous improvement whether watching film, refining mechanics, and challenging myself to become a more complete player every season.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the past two seasons, I have expanded my role to develop into a true 6-rotation Pin Hitter, gaining experience in serve receive, back-row defense, and attacking from all six rotations. This versatility allows me to adapt to team needs and bring value in multiple phases of the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

As a student-athlete, I value discipline and balance. I am fully committed to excelling in the classroom while preparing myself to compete at the collegiate level. My goal is to join a program where I can contribute immediately, continue to develop as a high-level athlete, and make a meaningful impact both on and off the court.
