About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Offensive, reactive, and aggressive.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Positive, leader, team player, and cheerful.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in leadership council, sergeant in arms in student council, interact club, and reel north. I have been awarded a chance to go to honors band and Rotary Youth Leadership Academy.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am very involved in the community I volunteer community ed safety program, youth cross country ski leader, and help at a youth volleyball camp.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I fractured my talus bone and tore three ligaments in my ankle at the beginning of 2024 and was not properly diagnosed for 6 weeks and had to start recovery over which set back any progress I had made.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a good pre-med program, good dorms, and small to medium sized.

With quick lateral movement and precise footwork, she closes blocks effectively and reads opposing setters with confidence. Offensively, Avery is fast off the floor and times her approach well, allowing her to capitalize on quick sets and create mismatches at the net.

She brings consistent energy and intensity, always looking to create momentum with big swings and timely blocks. Avery is also effective in transition, staying ready for quick-tempo plays and finishing with authority. Her ability to stay disciplined on blocking assignments and her smart shot selection make her a dependable force in the middle.
