About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a setter, my gameplay style is all about quick decision-making and reading the court. I focus on running a fast-paced offense, keeping the opposing team guessing by mixing up sets—whether it’s a quick to the middle, a high ball to the outside, or a sneaky back set. I stay vocal, constantly communicating with my hitters. My goal is to be calm, controlled, and always one step ahead.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a calm, composed mentality with a strong sense of leadership. I stay focused under pressure and thrive in high-pressure moments because I know my decisions set the tone for the entire offense. I try to always put my teammates in the best position to succeed.
