Avery is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at La Vernia High School and plays club for the South Texas Volleyball Academy program. Miss Pitus did a fantastic job of showcasing her skills to our scouts and court coaches. After watching the video of her play on court two, I was thoroughly impressed with how she was always prepared to swing block against the right side attacker. She was extremely patient with her set up and when to release to block. This kind of timing is crucial to make sure that she will be pressing over while the attacker is making contact with the ball. Her competitive spirit never wavered for the entire session and even when she was on the sideline during her rest session, she was still cheering on her teammates. I also liked how she was ready for anything to come her way during emergency situations. This high motor that she has will come in handy for any team she is on. All in all, I can see why her court coaches nominated her for this award. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the Expo.
