About Baylee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to play very seriously but also make sure me and my team are not only being successful but having a good time. I believe that volleyball is so much more than just a sport and its so important to enjoy the time and talent God has given us to do what we love.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a Christian athlete and I think that playing for God and in his image is so important. I find success when I am confident and uplifting myself and others. I believe that when someone is down it is a great oppurtunity for me to shine Gods light into the room and uplift everyone around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been a part of the National Juniors Honors Society, and I am not apart of only one Assisted Living Home in San Antonio, but on weekends where we are not scheduled for a volleyball tournaments, I volunteer at many around my city.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball and being blessed to play at such a high level has taught me to be a great teammate. Being a good teammate and helping people when they are down requires you to be doing the same for yourself. I believe it is important to have self-love and confidence in and out of volleyball. I have been the team captain at school and it has held me to a high standard and really pushed me to be great

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a fun atmosphere. Some take the word fun and think it takes the serious aspect out. I think that volleyball is so fun and something I genuinely enjoy, so I hope that when I continue my career in college it will be a positive and fun atmosphere
