Expert Analysis
Jeremy Deckard | Prep Dig Scout
Jacobs is a key piece on a talented Ellinwood roster. She had a standout sophomore season for the Eagles and will have high expectations for her and her team heading into her junior season. She recorded 343 digs and 267 serve receptions in 102 sets played. Jacobs will have a solid chance at reaching the benchmark of 1,000 career digs and serve receptions this fall. I watched some film from her prep season on HUDL, and she consistently makes solid passes to the setter, getting the entire offense in a great starting position.

Jacobs is a gritty libero for the Eagles. She is ranked No. 66 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. She finished her sophomore season with a total of 343 digs in 102 sets played. She already has 647 total digs in two high school seasons and could easily make a run at a total of 2,000 before her high school career is over. Jacobs also had a nice season on the basketball court. In my opinion, volleyball is the sport that she has more upside in and a chance to get a college scholarship to play.

Jacobs brought much to the floor with her defensive playmaking abilities. She moves well from side to side and front to back, allowing herself to be in position to touch balls at a high rate. She is a player who showed she’s not afraid to pass the ball and communicate on the court.
