How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Brielyn Korn is a powerful, high-IQ middle blocker who combines length, timing, and athleticism to dominate both offensively and defensively. As a freshman varsity starter at Saxony Lutheran High School, she brings impact energy to every rotation.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

“I’m confident, coachable, and competitive. I bring consistent energy to the court and push myself to get better every day — not just for me, but for my team. I stay focused under pressure, bounce back quickly from mistakes, and take pride in doing the little things right. I love learning, I love winning, and I’m always chasing growth.”

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Saxony High School Varsity Volleyball NSSC Volleyball Club

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

"Playing varsity as a freshman has pushed me to grow fast — not just as a player, but as a teammate. I’ve learned how to lead by example, communicate with confidence, and support my team through both wins and challenges. Being part of a close volleyball community has also taught me professionalism, time management, and the value of showing up for others."

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

"One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced so far has been stepping into a varsity role as a freshman. I walked into a team filled with upperclassmen and had to prove that I belonged—not just with my skills, but with my mindset and work ethic. At first, it was intimidating, but I chose to stay focused, put in extra reps, and earn my place through consistency and effort."
