About Brinley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am interchangeable. I can serve effectively with either hand, but I am left-hand dominant. This club season (Excel NW 14-1 Lux), I was moved from setter to DS/Libero. I have a 25-inch vertical jump and can play right side as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Encourager, Team first, Swiss Army knife that can fill a need on the court (except MB). I like to have fun. I can lighten the mood while remaining effective.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I love photography and singing.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This season (24-25) produced a position change. I was moved to DS/Libero (which I like) from the setter position. I'm undersized (5'6") for the RS position, but can play above the net due to my jumping ability. I utilize my athleticism to serve as a catalyst for our offense.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am a home-schooled volleyball player who loves to compete. The type of college I am looking for will have a family-like atmosphere that strives to compete regardless of who is involved. We win together, lose together, and strive to uplift each other through competitive training and practices. I can be your biggest cheerleader on the sidelines or keep the mood light and focused on the court.
