Britt has already figured out the most important thing a libero needs to understand early: you cannot react, you have to anticipate. The way that she tracked the ball and saw the play happen well before contact throughout the Up Next San Antonio camp were consistently a beat ahead of the opposition and she committed to her movement direction well. Her platform was compact and repeatable and she kept the ball in front of her body on serve receive rather than reaching across her frame. Standing 5’1″, every inch of her game has to be built on instinct and discipline and both were working at a high level throughout the day. She was loud and relentless from the first point to the last and the competitive spirit she brought to every rally made her impossible to miss on a busy floor.
