About Brooklin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as aware, aggressive, and adaptable. During games I am constantly aware of the way the hitters hands are moving, where they're placing the ball, and how the ball is moving. When games are live I am aggressive on the net, while playing both outside and right side.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my personality as humble, easy going, and fun to be around. I am always looking for ways to have fun and laugh with my family, friends, and teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I previously played at Waco Juniors as an outside hitter. I will now play at Texas Fury. In school, I have received the AB Honor Roll and a Leadership award in my English class.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My communication skills have greatly improved this past year playing with my club team. I have learned to become a leader on my team by holding myself accountable, but also encouraging my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In October of 2023 my seven year old sister was diagnosed with Leukemia. My whole life was changed, my mom and stepdad were constantly in and out of the hospital with my sister. It has been hard for me to watch someone so innocent and little, battle something like Leukemia. There have been times where my parents could not make my tournaments or my first year high school varsity volleyball games.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where faith is valued first and foremost. Additionally, a campus where student involvement and activities are prioritized. A great team culture and environment that promotes person over player is also very important to me. A beautiful campus and setting doesn't hurt either :)
