The times I’ve watched Brown play in person, she’s put forth a successful effort. At 5-9, Brown lacks the height of some other middle hitters. She makes up for it with outstanding leaping ability and a short, fast swing. Brown generates power and gets a good read on where the defense will be. She times her block well and alters a lot of attacks she doesn’t get her hands on. Brown shows promise hitting at the opposite pin, too, which gives college coaches another option.
