Bruss was a new player that I discovered play in the middle when I had the chance to catch up with Blaze 15 Black at AAU. She made a solid impression on this young team with the way she worked on every point. She transitioned, was consistent from the service line, and did the little things that often do translate to new middles. When she wasn’t attacking, she did a nice job covering her pin and staying engaged in every play. She brought steady effort and contributed in ways that help her team beyond just terminating the ball.

Brooklyn was a major force in the middle, making her presence known with strong, physical blocking at the net. She consistently took away attacking angles and disrupted opposing hitters with her timing and reach. Beyond her impact on the stat sheet, Brooklyn brought tremendous energy to the court, celebrating big plays and keeping her teammates engaged throughout the match. Her combination of blocking ability and enthusiasm helped provide a spark for her team.
