Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a dedicated and high-IQ Libero from the North Texas region, currently playing for Dallas Premier. I bring strong court awareness, serve receive consistency, and relentless hustle to every match. I play with high energy, fast reads, and relentless hustle. I focus on being a consistent and vocal leader in the back row, always ready to cover, dig, and keep the ball alive for my team.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a competitive mentality and take pride in doing the gritty work to help my team win. I stay focused under pressure, lead with communication, and always put the team first. Though I may be undersized, I make up for it with fast reads, sharp communication, and fearless defense. I’m driven to compete at a high level and continually work on developing my game, both technically and mentally.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’ve always pushed myself academically. I was in PALS and AVID throughout middle school and plan to continue both during my junior and senior years of high school. I was always recommended for advanced courses by my teachers, and currently take honors classes. I’ve earned recognition for maintaining grades of 93 and above in and mastered both the Algebra and English STAAR exams.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Playing libero has helped me grow as a leader and communicator. I’ve learned how to keep the team connected during tough moments and lead by example through hustle and consistency. I also take pride in being a great teammate—always encouraging others, staying positive, and doing whatever it takes to help us succeed.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of my biggest challenges has been being overlooked because of my size. As an undersized libero, I don’t have the height many coaches look for at first glance, so I’ve had to constantly prove myself through my effort, consistency, and court IQ. It’s pushed me to work harder, stay mentally tough, and turn that doubt into motivation.
