Mitchell makes a number of sound in-air adjustments to put down balls. She helps the Bison control the net a number of ways. Mitchell records nice, timely double blocks working well with teammates. Mitchell has turned into a solid swing blocker. Mitchell said she’s improved getting touches on her blocks to at least slow them down for teammates in the back row.

Mitchell looks ready to put on a show for Station Camp at the net this fall. She has.a solid four-step approach, a quick arm swing and terminates balls on a number of routes. She gets up on shoots and slides then pounds balls down before blockers can rise up. Mitchell punches balls into seams with a great downward trajectory. Mitchell has a great volleyball IQ with her ball placement. Mitchell uses her size well defensively, going up with a purpose and stuffing a number of balls on both solo and double attempts.
