Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a setter and right-side hitter with four years of experience and exposure to high-level competition, my game-day style is focused, composed, and driven. I take pride in running an efficient, fast-paced offense, making smart, strategic decisions that put my hitters in the best position to score. I’m vocal on the court, constantly communicating and leading with confidence.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a naturally positive and composed player who brings energy to the court. I rarely let frustration affect my attitude and always focus on taking the game one point at a time. As a natural leader, I stay vocal and encouraging, which helps me stay in control as a setter.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes, I’m an active member of Future Farmers of America (FFA). Through FFA, I’ve developed strong leadership values, learned how to raise livestock responsibly, and had the opportunity to compete in a variety of career and leadership development events. I have placed 2nd high individual in an FFA public speaking contest, and 3rd high prize with my market lamb.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through my involvement in FFA, student council, and community service, I’ve developed a wide range of valuable skills and qualities. I’ve learned leadership, responsibility, and how to communicate effectively with others. Serving at Vacation Bible School taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of giving back. All of these experiences have helped me grow into the person I am today.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I faced a big challenge when I switched schools in 4th grade. It was a tough transition because I had to leave behind familiar teachers, friends, and routines. Starting over meant I had to step out of my comfort zone, make new friends, and adjust to a completely new environment. It was difficult at first, but the experience helped me build resilience, confidence, and strong social skills.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that has a strong communications program where I can grow academically and prepare for a future career in media or public relations. I also value being part of a campus that has a diverse student body. In addition, I’m looking for a school with an active and supportive student life community, where I can get involved, build friendships, and truly feel connected.
