Vigil and her Alamo 17 Premier team will appear in the competitive 17 Open division. She has long established herself as a top libero in Texas and has found ways to continue improving her game over the years. For a libero, reading the game well and being quick to react is paramount and Vigil is absolutely elite in that area. Her ball control is also truly impressive and allows her to shine with difficult digs and be extremely solid in serve-receive. The libero also has a very strong presence on the court, fighting for every point, and is one of those players who step up and thrive when under pressure.

A libero for Alamo 17 Premier, Vigil has been steadily improving her game over the years – although her playing style remains virtually the same, it’s easy to see how much she’s made since she was with the 15s. She has everything one would want in a libero as she reads the game well, is quick to react and incredibly gifted from a technical standpoint. Vigil also adds to the team with her determination and fighting spirit, which very often positively affect her teammates.

One of the individual standouts in the Alamo 15 Premier team that won the National Championship last year, Vigil is now a key piece in the 16 Premier team of the famed San Antonio club. Her game has only gotten better over the last year as she got to develop her technical skills even further and is now more experienced and understands the game better. Vigil is very technical and quick on the backcourt and a strong player on defense and serve-receive, but what makes of her a special player is her determination and fighting spirit.

Vigil has emerged as one of the most promising liberos in the area during the last high school and club seasons and just continues to get better. Very stable and reliable, she’s been doing a great job in leading Harlan’s backcourt efforts this season. Very quick and technical, the 5’6″ Vigil ranks first for the team in digs (391) and passes (433) besides executing all the little things that don’t show on the box score to perfection.
