The Wildcard and Joker on this team is Rural’s Anderson. She is the “little sister” you can’t turn your back on. The Class of 2029 prospect is playing up with this team. She is as gritty as Rooster Cogburn and as cunning as Josey Wales. She can play any position on the court, including setter. Anderson is ranked No. 11 overall in the Kansas Class of 2029.

Anderson is a talented athlete and a real treat to see play in person. I have seen her play during club ball and at a recent Prep Dig Showcase. She is a six-rotation talent who can set, hit outside, or play as a defensive specialist. Washburn Rural does not post public stats; her ranking is based primarily on her upside and having seen her compete in person. Anderson is ranked No. 11 overall. She was previously ranked No. 3 overall.

Anderson recently attended the Prep Dig Exposure Tour in Kansas City. She plays up during the club season for the Topeka Saints 16-1 squad. She is a six-rotation athlete who competed with discipline and enthusiasm. I did not see Washburn Rural last season, so I look forward to seeing her play club ball. Anderson is ranked No. 11 overall in the Kansas Class of 2029. The Saints open the tournament with an 8:00 a.m. Pool F match against MAVS 816 16-1. That will more than likely be the match I scout to begin my day.

Anderson lands on our all-Midwest team through her ability to do a little of everything. We always get a strong Topeka influence at our Kansas City events, and Anderson was one of the best we’ve seen in the Dynasty gym. She excelled as a distributor and an attacker, making her a brilliant “utility” player during six-on-six drills. We couldn’t have found a better pick for our jack-of-all-trades spot on this list of honorees, so look out for Anderson at Topeka Saints this spring.

Kansas’s Class of 2029 is quickly loaded up with quality frontcourt talent. Anderson is a good “utility” choice for our all-showcase team as a player who can terminate or run an offense. Her physical frame is ready-made for an outside attacking role, and Anderson made the most of her swings during early drills. However, the Washburn Rural prospect also boasts incredible finesse when bettering the ball on first and second contacts. This is a do-it-all 2029 standout to watch in the Topeka area.

Of all the athletes in attendance, arguably, Rural’s Anderson benefited the most and made the best argument to be moved up the rankings. She played with confidence and showed off her versatile skill set. She can set, hit, and play solid backrow defense.
She finished her freshman season with 397 kills and 229 digs. I give her a ton of credit for posting her stats on X so scouts and coaches could access them. She is currently ranked No. 11 overall in the Kansas Class of 2029.

Anderson is one of two players on this team playing up a level. She will be entering her freshman season at Washburn Rural this fall. She is ranked No. 3 overall in the initial rankings for the Kansas Class of 2029. It was the first time I had scouted her since the last club season. I was impressed with her serve during the practice. She hits a hard line drive serve with late sink on it. She played all six rotations for the Saints in the “Get-Away Day” scrimmage.

Anderson had a solid match. She is playing up during club season. The Class of 2029 prospect will be among the ranked athletes when the initial Class of 2029 rankings are released. She saw more reps at setter, as the Saints No. 1 setter missed the tournament. I watched her hit during warmups, and she has some serious ups. She finished the match with 19 assists and three blocks.
