About Caitlin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love a fun filled court. I would say that my gameplay is smart and strategic but also fun and strong!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very outgoing and a loud person! I love making people smile and laugh! I always put the extra effort to make someone’s day better. I also enjoy fun but hardworking practices. Finding balance between those are important to me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received student of the month, lead award, paw award (x4), gold honor since 2014, and many more academic awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I always find myself in a leadership role. I always want to make sure everyone is under the same idea and has the same end goals. Teamwork is also a very important skill to acquire. Building a strong relationship with teammates is important to attain as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have recently went through a sinuplasty surgery to help with my breathing. I haven’t been able to breathe through one side of my nose for a long time, which hindered my playing ability. Now that I’m able to breathe, I’m so excited to see how far I can go.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a bigger college. Although I am open to smaller ones as well! I love the thought of a family atmosphere too!

Another nice surprise that came to us at our Top 250 Expo comes from the Kokomo area, due north of Carmel in north central Indiana. Caitlin hits a heavy ball and can play all the way around with her Boiler Juniors training and her high volleyball IQ. I’m looking forward to what she does against toughest competition this spring, and how much more she can rise in the coming months armed with skills that are hard to find in available recruits in this class.
