The 5’8 pin returns to Strongsville after making key contributions for a competitive and successful 15 Black team at CVC. At nearly 180 total kills as a freshman in 2025, her average has increased so far this season at 2.6 k/s to help the Mustangs remain unbeaten through six matches. An all-league and district honoree a season ago, her contributions are important to help balance Strongsville’s offense going forward. She has good composure as a sophomore given her veteran experience.

Hicks (*pictured) helped her team well from both sides of the court. This team has some missing pieces due to injury and Hicks is one that is stepping up nicely to help fill any offensive gaps. Her ability to swing for points at both pins creates variety for her and balance for her team. She took advantage of that variation well to give herself different looks and challenge the defense well, especially at the right pin as opposing blockers had difficulty closing space to that direction. Challenge match #7 is their next contest on Sunday after going 2-1 and finishing second in their pool.
