One more hidden gem gets in the mix. Crawford was among Nebraska’s most effective sophomore middles with nearly three kills per set as a sophomore. Like many of the players on this list, Crawford can also operate as a left-side hitter and take a large volume of swings from the pin. Regardless of position, McCook has a future leader to carry the offensive load.

We’re heading all the way to southwestern Nebraska to visit McCook. The Bison debuted a strong freshman middle blocker last fall, as Crawford finished third on the team in kills and had a team-best 30 blocks. Despite her youth, Crawford quickly became a dominant force with her length and high contact point. Expect that to continue.
