Valentine does a great job using her size to control the net. Valentine not only double teams with other blockers well, she also extends her hands forward after opponents swing to put balls down. Valentine has a number of swings she uses to put balls down. Valentine hits balls hard to the lines. She also makes things happen when the team is out of system. She is not afraid to send softer shots to the middle when it is open.
