I’m not sure which twin is older, but both are bringing their A games to start the year. From the libero position, Carina is already digging at an impressive 4.6 per set early in the season. She’s been a steady presence in the back row, helping keep rallies alive and giving her team plenty of opportunities to transition into offense. If she can maintain that pace, she’ll quickly establish herself as one of the more productive defensive players in the area.

In this class, we have many talented defenders not separated by much in their play. Buttrum stood out in the matches I watched with her tenacity and toughness. She sacrifices her body to get touches on balls and brings a lot of energy to the floor.
