Carsyn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2029 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Peaster High School and also for the Houston Skyline volleyball club. What makes Miss Zwerneman special is how she can play both front row and back row at a high level at this young age. This kiddo takes such a hard and aggressive approach to the ball that is so much fun for a volleyball purist like me to watch. The long drawn out upswing in her attacking form really helps to propel her in the air a few more inches and in this sport, every inch truly does count. What I also like is how she uses a solid and spread out hand contact in order to direct the ball to exactly where she wants to send it to. In the back row, the level of focus she has on the opposing side when they have the ball is unmatched. This allows her to read the ball so well and put herself in such a great position to play the ball early. I strongly urge everyone to put this young lady’s name down on your short list of athletes to watch. We will be following her club journey very closely this coming season.
