About Catherine

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very competitive player. I cheer on my team and am very loud on the court. I have a good eye and can read the hitter and tell my team where to place the ball or cover.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very loud outgoing personality i love to cheer on my team and love making up new cheers. I have the mentality that it’s the 3rd set and we need to push to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in HOSA at my high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a strong sense of leadership, i was my freshman team libero and captain. I was placed with the responsibility of lifting my team up and having to make sure everyone was happy and ready to play.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where i can pursue my dream of playing volleyball in college and become a surgical PA.

I set my eyes on Standley in the very first drills as she caught my attention with how focused and centered she was. Her technical gesture was always perfect, which resulted in great deliveries with her passes and digs. Even as the event progressed and the pace increased, she was still able to keep her form impeccable, continuing to stand out on the backcourt. Standley displayed tremendous ball control and made many successful defensive actions during the day.
