About Cece

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a setter I like to establish a fast and aggressive offense running as many attackers and plays as possible keeping defenses guessing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a mentally tough player with stamina for long matches and tournaments. I have a focused but playful personality focused on creating trust among teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of my high school top choir, the Capella Choir and was elected to the leadership team for my class.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed my communication skills as a player and as a school leader allowing me to comfortably speak in front of groups including taking the lead for school events and volleyball camps.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In the summer of 2022 I walked a portion of the Camino Trail in northern Spain. We covered 85 miles in 5 days through mountainous terrain, carrying all of our gear in a backpack. Although physically demanding, the culture and beauty of the terrain made each day exciting.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a small to medium sized college with a competitive program to contribute to in the future.
