About Cecelia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my on court game play as fierce and loud. I am fast, super-fast. I will get that ball at all cost. I just love the game!!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is: I am happy go lucky person. My smile is always on and my goal is to left up everyone around me. Everyone needs a Cece in their life!!!!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, Honor Society, CISV, Student Council, School Volleyball Tea, Dunes Volleyball Club. I have received Principal Honor roll now for 3 years straight.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Teamwork makes the dream work, and I wholeheartedly believe in the phrase. My leadership is my voice, I strive to be heard, both on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Every day presents its challenges, but it's up to us to face them head on. I embrace every obstacle with determination and ready to tackle whatever comes my way.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will support me as both a student and an athlete while providing the best possible education. I am open to all opportunities.

A ton of athlete in a small package, Cecelia is fully capable of being a next-level libero. After watching her vocal leadership at our Freshman Showcase, her ability to chase down errant balls and keep her team in the play was evident from her arrival. Yes, she’s small, but so are the rest of the DS’s in our world. If you’re gonna play this position, play big, which is exactly what Miss Beyer does. A word to the wise: if you’re in a situation where everyone is the same, do something different to stand out. What did Cecelia do? Lead with the libero jersey on. That’s what the best defenders bring in their gym bags.
