About Channing

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fast, athletic, Libero/DS , that has a great serve receive who able to cover a lot of ground from the Libero position, as well as serve multiple locations on the floor. I am a high energy athlete who understands the game of volleyball which allows me to be a strong vocal leader on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a mentally tough person who believes that the work is the best part of playing volleyball! I love the weight room and training just as much as playing with my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not involved any clubs or organizations at this time. I hope to be involved in student body’s representation and FFA In high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe that being a great teammate says more about me than anything else, not just in volleyball but in my day to interaction’s on the court and off.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any! I am hopeful for any opportunities to get an education and play the sport I love for as long as possible.

Minton’s backcourt reflexes are a major difference-maker for Power ‘] 16-1. The team stayed in long rallies behind Minton’s ability to pick up tips and fill seams left by the block. Aside from her knack for commanding her team’s floor defense, Minton is also a plug-and-play libero in the serve-receive pattern. She was particularly strong in the middle-back area at last weekend’s event and wasn’t afraid to shoulder some passing volume. Power ‘]’s top 16s crew is already establishing balance and strength around the dial.
