We’re wrapping up with an athlete whose length is ready-made for playing up a year. Stanchfield stands tall in the middle and is adept at hitting at the peak of her jump. The KC Ignite 17-1 standout has accelerated her development this spring while adding some tremendous defensive touches at the net, too. Stanchfield compiled an impressive highlight tape as her team earned top-ten finishes at the Sunshine and Show Me qualifiers. We’re eager to see her build off a triple-digit-kill sophomore tenure with the Paola Panthers.

A player I meant to see a couple of times last season and missed was Paola’s Stanchfield. When I worked for the Kansas Human Rights Commission Paola was one of my favorite Kansas town’s to visit so I could crush come German Cuisine at Beethoven’s. It seemed that every tournament I went to his year that Paola was at I would end up missing them. Stanchfield was one of five Panthers to record over 100 kills from last year’s squad. She registered 124 kills and 74 blocks last season. She is a tall, physical, middle that college coaches should watch closely. I know how college coaches are always on the hunt for middle blockers!
