Science Hill’s offensive flow is remarkable and McBride more than benefits from it. McBride has a heavy hand and pounds balls with authority in the middle with a tough arm swing and wrist snap. McBridge does a great job getting on top of balls and smacks gap shots into the back row. McBridge pounds ones into seams with a great downward trajectory. Her arm speed is so exceptional that even good defensive specialists have a hard time digging her up. McBridge takes quick looks at the other side before starting her attack and lets balls rip.

McBride earns more than her share of big plays on a loaded Science Hill team. McBride uses her size well and has great technique on her net approaches. She deposits ones all over the court before opposing middles can get up to even slow it down. McBride puts overpassed balls away from opponents not trying to do too much.
