How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as aggressive and strategic. As a middle hitter, I focus on both offensive and defensive plays. I strive to be quick on my feet, utilizing my height to block effectively and hit with power. I also pride myself on my ability to read the game, anticipating the opposing team's moves to position myself accordingly.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a positive and determined mentality. I believe in hard work and resilience, and I approach challenges with a "Tell Me I Can't" attitude. This mindset drives me to push my limits both on and off the court. I am competitive but also supportive of my teammates, always encouraging them to strive for their best.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In addition to volleyball, I am involved in my school's Student Council and National Honor Society. I’ve also participated in community service projects, which have helped me develop a sense of responsibility and leadership.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my experiences, I have developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. As a middle hitter, I often have to communicate effectively with my teammates, whether it’s calling for the ball or organizing defensive strategies. I've also learned the importance of commitment and discipline, both in athletics and academics.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I faced was balancing my rigorous academic schedule with my volleyball commitments. Managing my time effectively has taught me valuable skills in prioritization and discipline. I’ve learned to stay focused and organized, ensuring I meet my academic responsibilities while also giving my all to the sport I love.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that values both academic excellence and athletic achievement. Ideally, I want to join a program where I can continue to develop as a volleyball player while pursuing a degree in law, with a focus on helping the special education population with their legal needs.
