Downs has emerged as a dynamic hitter for the balanced Generals. Downs is especially tough on back sets. Downs can pound balls down the line and take things off to hit them in the middle back row. Downs can angle balls off blockers. Downs is also a sound blocker and hustles hard on defense. Downs has 144 kills, 17 blocks and 54 digs on the season for Thomas Nelson.
