Lewis has good tools in the back row for her Premier team. With some minor adjustments to her movement her efficiency will have a chance to improve in ways that will get her setter into rhythm more frequently. One of her best attributes is her vision and how she tracks the ball and play development across the net, which translates too using her quickness well to be able to get to the ball in all directions. Where she can elevate her execution is by minimizing any extra action just prior to pursuing the ball. By simplifying her base and committing to more patience to react without negatives steps she’ll have more time to get her angles more consistent to deliver in the zone more often. Lewis can bring good stability to her team’s offensive effort as she has good mechanics in her passing and defense. She is very patient in serve receive and reacts with efficiency to be able to get her body and angles into good position. On the defensive side, she reads well and pursues the ball understanding how to make adjustments to lower her hips to get her platform under the ball for a better angle and to control the force of contact.
