Donnelly is perhaps an unsung hero of Cross County’s 2025 state tournament berth. While much of the Cougar offense operated on the pins, Donnelly provided much-needed balance and efficiency in the middle. She finished second on the team with a 0.232 hitting efficiency while nearly doubling her kill output from 2024. This is a ready-made ‘M1’ who even showcased her serving prowess during postseason play. Nebraska’s small-town scene is always dishing out quality middle blockers.
