About Cosima

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an upbeat player who always strives to make each ball better.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I focus on resetting the play and supporting my teammates by finding ways to improve each moment on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play soccer on my school's JV team. I am a summer camp counselor at Walden West Science Camp, and a summer camp counselor at Willow Glen Elementary, my former elementary school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have improved my leadership skills and emotional intelligence and now I focus on always helping my teammates to become the best versions of themselves both on the court and off. I went from being shy and quiet to being the player who talks the most on the court and during group huddles.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a concussion during the 2024 season that affected me for a little while. I had to work hard to come back to my regular level, and I am proud to say that I am back to playing great!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that can support me both athletically and academically, and where I can play volleyball at a high level.
