Long and lean for days, D’Aaliyah, an Iowa State commit, is a raw, fast and athletic middle that will fit in just fine with the size and speed that the Big XII requires. Already jumping past ten feet and able to attack from in front of and behind the setter, Miss Kemp’s quick transition from defense to offense is already trained into her skill set, making the experience of the game that much easier for her. Her length on the block is nearly impossible to miss—those long arms of hers make her look and play much bigger than her 6’3″ frame might otherwise indicate. Most of what she does is terminal; she either scores points with a terminal block or can go over blocks with her very high attack point.
