About Daisy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I absolutely love the game and it shows on and off the court. I have a high VB IQ, when I’m on the court I am sure to make points or side outs. I enjoy being a stand out player and making my teammates shine too. I celebrate their successes like I do my own.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I learn by success, “failure”, and watching others. I am gritty, and I love to work hard to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Ive won multiple character rewards in school. Ive helped coach little league volleyball for the last 3 year. I also help with various events at my church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned the best way to lead is by example and raising others up around me my complimenting them. This approach has been successful when coaching little league as a captain on my team and everything in life.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A personal challenge is that my parents got divorced when I was 5 years old. Leaving my Mom and 4 sisters together. Another challenge is that I’ve served as a utility player majority of my volleyball career. This was a challenge but Im thankful for it because I have learned resilience and the game even better.

What type of college are you looking for?

Currently I’m wanting to become a physical therapist or a nurse. I believe i will thrive in an environment with a strong volleyball community.
