Sarchione (*pictured) is among the top point scoring seniors returning for their respective teams in 2025. The 5’10 pin earned a career best 436 kills in 2025 for a 4.5 k/s average. She also added a career best 11.0 d/m as she earned 2nd team all-Ohio honors for DIV. The Dukes finished 25-3 overall and with a perfect 10-0 record in the Northern Buckeye league. Bowing out in the state semifinal round on the final weekend of the season, Marlington returns one other key piece from last year in fellow senior Justine Doringo. With a 1.3 k/s average, the middle led the Dukes defensively at the net with a total of 49 blocks. Senior Reese Hagan Reese Hagan OH OH will likely assume more responsbility defensively as she provided 114 total digs last year. Look for Sarchione to potetially shoulder an even bigger load offensively.

Sarchione is a high flying pin as a 5’10 she elevates with ease while creating advantages for her arm when she is on time in the air. Marlington has consistently been a high performing team as they have lost few matches in recent years, especially since Sarchione arrived to the program as they have reached the state round in each of her seasons. She performed with career high numbers in 2025 with 436 kills and a 4.5 k/s average along with a big upgrade defensively at 11.0 d/m. She can get it done at the service line as well as she had a school record 17 aces in an earlier match in October. She had 86 total aces on the season. The Dukes fell just shy of a state title match appearance as Sarchione delivered 21 kills and 10 digs in her final match of the season.

Sarchione took a number of sound swings from the pins and middle, trying to mix up hard and soft hits. She runs effective tandems and hits from the back row. Sarchione also makes effective first touches and makes things happen out of system.

Sarchione is finding good success this club season with the top 16U team with Elite Sports Ohio. At 5’10, she is dynamic in her approach work with good lift and elevation. Her range is improving as well as she can scatter the ball with good purpose and power down the line and with good arm control through the crosscourt space. With all-around tools, she is simple in her action whether in the passing game or offensively, which allows her to be efficient in her movement and consistently effective overall.
