The fiery junior from Puyallup high school had made a verbal commitment to play at Santa Clara in the WCC. Physical and athletic at 6’3, Brown is an intimidating blocker and has excellent movement for a middle her size. She will trust her eyes defensively and commit to the block, with good timing and press at the point of attack. Offensively she can turn a shot to the open court or go with a set and hammer it to the angle.

Dani Brown may be the difference maker if Puyallup faces North Creek for the championship, if the seed hold the #1 Viking and #2 Jaguars would see each other in the finals. Brown is long and skilled, the junior middle will be playing in the WCC, she has committed to Santa Clara. Surrounded by excellent players all over the court, matching up and keying on Brown is a tough task, and if you don’t she can make you pay with a big time kill that can change the momentum of a match. Her blocking is special, and  makes opponents account for her, if not change their game entirely. Puyallup is undefeated, and they want to keep that perfect record intact and end the season as champions.

The Vikings are powerful, tall, and skilled along the front row. Brown is a junior middle who can roof any opponent at any time, and deliver a huge momentum boost for the team. She is hitting over .400 for the season, and with her and fellow middle Hollis Downing blasting away, defenses have to respect all of the attacking options Puyallup has. Setter Reese Shepard has had a great season running the offense, the Vikings are set on paying off this season by hoisting the championship trophy in the Yakima Sundome.

The Vikings have many outstanding platers that have contributed to a 13-0 RPI record, but Brown is a player that makes everyone else better around her. Defensively she can come up with a huge block at anytime to turn momentum around, and offensively she draws a crowd from opposing blockers. She has a huge range for her setter Reese Shephard to find her, it doesnt take a perfect pass to feed it in for a solid swing.
