Danielle rose from 113 to 100 in the rankings. She plays for Metro. The team carries so much talent that playing time for Danielle can be a challenge. Unfortunately, I never got to see her play when I watched Metro.

It was when Jackson Reed visited Flint Hill that gave me the first opportunity to watch her play. Danielle started at libero for Jackson Reed. She showed me why Metro has her on the roster. She hustles for the ball well, making some incredible plays at the libero position and shows a quit platform for passing.

Didn’t really get a chance to see Danielle play a lot. For Metro she was used as a secondary defensive player and never got an opportunity to see Jackson-Reed play. The opportunity came in a match against Flint Hill.

She plays some strong defense, digging a ball with a sprawling one handed dig and showing a dolphin dive on a tip short in the middle of the court. Her passing was a bit inconsistent early in the first set but it got better as the match progressed. She hustles after balls, a critical component you find in all liberos.

Playing time on Metro is a challenge, especially with Sadie Gladhill Sadie Gladhill 5'6" | DS/L Linganore | 2025 State VA and Evie Huang Evie Huang 5'6" | DS/L Flint Hill | 2026 State VA two of the top liberos in their age group sharing the back row duties with Danielle. However, she does play libero for the top public high school in the DC area. She led their team in digs and service aces. Danielle has committed to Elon University. She moved from the watch list to number 111 for the class of 2025. Perhaps if I had seen more of her play she could climb even higher.
