Halstead’s Euewer traveled north and east to compete in the Elite Camp. She is a state tournament champion whom I saw play at the Class 3A State Tournament last season. She is still uncomitted and showed off her skills hoping for a possible offer from the Ichabods. I did not get to see her set much, but I liked her defensive poture and she made consistent passes during the early drills. Euwer is ranked No. 77 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027.

Halstead’s Euwer is ranked No. 77 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. She is registered to compete at the Washburn University Elite Camp. She was also recently at the Pittsburg State Elite Camp. I do not doubt that she will end up with multiple offers from in-state Division II programs. She is a gifted athlete who is very coachable and has shown her passion for the game on several different levels. She also has a winning pedigree as she will look to help Halstead defend its State Championship Crown in 2025.

Halstead’s Euwer will be competing for the No. 1 setter position for the Dragons this fall. She played a backup role for the Class 4A state champs as a junior. She recorded 85 assists, 22 kills, and 191 digs during her junior campaign. Halstead will be a preseason favorite to repeat as champs, as they lost just one starter to graduation. Euwer will have competition at the setter spot. She is ranked No. 77 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 rankings.
