How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Quick tempo, fast reaction. I always strive to put my hitters in the best position to succeed. I can adapt to both a 6-2 or a 5-1.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love building up my teammates. I thrive on making sure my team knows that I have their back no matter what. I always want to win but I want to win as a team even more.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been a member of the academic club for the last two years and have enjoyed my time getting to connect with young people that have different outlooks and goals than mine.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a setter, it’s like being the quarterback on your team. You have to be able to lead and direct what happens on the court. But I have also learned that being a leader isn’t just about directing by sometimes being the glue that helps the team work together better.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started later than most players at 14. I have worked extremely hard to catch up to those elite players at every level that I have played. Knowing that, I had to make the choice to train twice as hard as the other players in my club or high school. I started on a 15-3s team and stayed focused. I worked my way onto the 18-1s team at 16 and credit my results to my hard work and dedication

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play at an elite level. I’d love to stay on the west coast but playing top level volleyball is what drives me. I am wanting a program that takes winning as serious as I do.
