Delaney’s aggressive step-close and fast arm swing make her dangerous from anywhere on the court. She stands out with her backrow attacking, being able to hit seams and corners of the court from the pipe attack. Although she can get up and bang, she is a steady and reliable hitter, especially in long rallies or out-of-system plays.

Delaney is excited to showcase the unique plays her team has been fine-tuning for the Pacific Northwest Qualifier. Beyond team practices, she focuses on individual preparation, including strength training, nutrition, and recovery to stay in top shape. Ranked 7th in SCVA, the team is ready to bring their best performance against fierce competition in Spokane.

Midway through the season, Delaney has grown significantly in her communication and leadership, especially as a 6-rotation outside hitter. She’s worked on being more vocal on the court, understanding that strong communication is key to success. Delaney has embraced her leadership role, both on and off the court, helping to keep her team connected and focused throughout every game.

What makes Delaney stand out to college coaches is her leadership and versatility. She contributes to every aspect of the game and leads by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Off the court, she’s taking on leadership roles in her high school community, including running for athletic representative on student council. This season, her team has shown incredible resilience, overcoming adversity like the Palisades fire, injuries, and illness.
