Phills’ strong game really stood out when I watched her play on Court 4. She played in all three front positions while I was there and did so at a really high level, displaying some impressive versatility. Phills is a scoring force as she can jump well and has an incredibly heavy right arm, which she often uses to overpower opposing blocks. She also showed some very good quality with her passing and her blocking and was the go-to hitter in her teams for most of the time.
