About Dylan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am capable in playing every position, but my primary position is L/DS. I hustle for every ball while communicating very loudly, with my teammates, on the court as a back row player. I am a very aggressive Pin Hitter that can also hit pipe if needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I give it my all every time I practice/play. I let my actions speak and lead by example. I am a team player both on and off the court. I will give 100% whether I'm playing on the court or cheering for my teams off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I don't let mistakes control my play, i can easily reset after making mistakes and i encourage my teammates to do the same by positively pushing them to "forget, go to next play, bounce back".

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have always played up for my age. I played for 12s when I was 10, played for 13s when I was 11 and now playing for Storm 14-1s as a 12 year old. Playing up with older girls has been challenging but I do everything I can to compete and to prove the coaches they made the right choice and that I belong by putting in the extra work and to never quit.

Playing up as the youngest athlete on a 14-1 squad at just 12 years old, she emphasized how meaningful it has been to compete alongside older players and “hang with them.” Looking ahead, Dylan is focused on becoming more aggressive and consistently vocal on the court, while also improving her speed and footwork to get into better passing and digging positions.
