She stays balanced through contact, which gives her the ability to locate accurately to all attack zones—especially when running quick tempo to the pins and first-tempo middles. What stands out is how calm she looks while doing it; the game doesn’t speed her up.

As a freshman, Elan already demonstrates strong court awareness, reading pass quality quickly and making efficient decisions that keep hitters in rhythm. She does a great job keeping blockers honest by varying location and tempo rather than locking into one option.
