About Eliana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game play style is mainly strategic I'm always looking for ways to throw the other team out of system. Telling my teammates spots that are open before the play. Calling which hitter is hitting and what they are doing. Yelling where the setter is setting or if she's dumping. I believe I observe the game and understand where the ball is going to go before it leaves the players hands.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is the goldfish mentality. It basically means to forget what ever just happened because goldfish have short memories. I also like to keep a calm composer on the court because I feel like what you act like reflects on to your teammates as well. For my personality I will always be cheering you on no matter what. And no matter if I'm on the court or not you will hear me

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my schools Jazz band and we've received three awards placing in the top 3 both years we went. I've received academic awards in Greek language for my school. And I've also received awards for being in honors ELA and Social Studies.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I definitely have developed a strong leadership skill, definitely teamwork, creativity, cleverness, and sharpness.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My first challenge was probably having pattelofemora syndrome which caused me to do physical therapy for 6 months and wear a brace for a year. Then in 2025 I had a cyst like tumor removed from the left side of my face that could've paralyzed me if it got bigger. Than in November I had to get it re sewn because it didn't heal properly.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will support me from early on and stick with me through the hard. I also want one that will have my career interest. But I also wa t a college that feels like home or family because comfortis a huge deal for me.
