The Cougars had a new head coach, but the success of recent years did not stop thanks to players like Meggs. Meggs is a lefty that takes nice swings in both the front and back row. Meggs hits balls off and through blockers. Meggs can adjust in mid-air to push balls to open parts of the floor. Meggs makes sound passes then makes smooth transitions to offense. Meggs had 335 kills and 241 digs to help Somerset Christian go 26-9, win the 48th District championship and drive to the 12th Region semifinals.
