Elizabeth stands somewhere between 6’1″ and 6’3″ depending on what site you are looking at. Elizabeth carries the versatility to play either middle or right side. For Club 540 she played right side. For Colgan she finds herself playing middle.

She was a frosh the year Colgan lost in the finals of the state championship. She hopes that her senior year will result in a state championship. Currently her ability to put up a strong block is superior to her hitting. The ability is there to put the ball away.

Last year she was second on her team in blocks and third in kills. Colgan is my favorite to win the state championship and Elizabeth will contribute any championship.

Elizabeth plays middle for Colgan and right side for 540 Volleyball Academy . This gives her a lot of versatility. For Colgan she finished second on the team in blocks and third in kills.

At 6’3″ she covers a lot of ground above the net. With more strength and a faster arm swing she could produce more velocity on the ball. There is also the possibility that she could bring a couple more inches of height to her game. This makes her a player to watch.

Elizabeth York, who delivered an outstanding performance in the game that propelled our team to the district finals. With a remarkable .400 hitting percentage, Elizabeth was a key force at the net, consistently contributing to the team’s offense and defense. Her precision and timing were pivotal in maintaining offensive pressure, while her energy and leadership inspired her teammates throughout the match.

As a middle blocker, Elizabeth’s presence was felt in all areas of the game—whether it was her quick reflexes at the net, her strong blocking skills, or her ability to stay focused under pressure. Beyond her stats, her positive attitude and work ethic have made her an invaluable team player. Elizabeth always brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm, lifting the team during crucial moments and leading by example both on and off the court.

Her dedication and determination played a major role in helping the team advance to the district finals and clenching their 8th straight district title. Elizabeth’s consistent hard work and team-first mentality make her a standout player and we can’t wait to see her continue to lead us as we move forward.

Playing middle brings her defensive strengths into play with her blocking. That flexibility to play both gives a team strength.

From the middle her hitting percentage sits at .384, which ranks number one on the team. She ranks second in blocking and third in kills. At 6’3″ she provides a presence at the net. The scary thought for opponents is that she could see even more growth.
