Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Hi! My name is Elliana Smith, but I go by Ellie! I'm a 2027 Setter with a strong work ethic and focus on being the most well-rounded player I can be. I work hard to balance my schoolwork while training 4-5 days a week. My focus is on running our offense while being a great defender. During the 2025 season, my club team (Dakine 16 Surf 1) triple qualified for Nationals and took 3rd place!
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I like to lead by example and believe that you have to be willing to PUT IN THE WORK if you want to succeed. I train 4-5 days a week between the court and sand practices.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
My teammates describe me as a calm and collected player who doesn't give up on the ball.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for a mid-large university experience!
